1970 Porsche 911 T Excellent Driver, Matching Numbers for sale in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

$37,000

1970 Porsche 911 T.  As the 911 began full swing production in 1965, it was apparent that evolution would be necessary to meet the demands of the varying customer based who enjoyed them. As 1966 and 1967 came, the S variant was introduced. Once the 1969 production model was introduced it offered a longer wheel base, more refined interior, and multiple power options including the T, E, and S variants. Of which provided varying power and performance options. The T was essentially the base model, available with many options from Porsche, but offered in Solex carburetor format, but still a performer from every aspect.
The example on offer here has known history and is by far one of the straightest examples we have come across. It was sold new out of Texas as the 101st 911T Produced, and the original owner managed to enjoy it until 1986 when until trading it in for a brand new Jaguar. At which point the second and most recent owner acquired the car as a €œused car€, upon his acquisition, the car was as it is now, red with a beige interior. While it was sold new (according to the COA) as a Pastel Blue example, it does show well in red. The car has retained its matching numbers engine as per the COA. From 1986 to the current day, we have extensive receipts for many parts purchased over the years. Jack D., the most recent owner, was an enthusiast and performed any and all work on his Porsche, as it was always a prized possession. During his ownership Jack accrued very few miles, and the car was very well kept inside his AZ garage. As a southwest car from new this 911 is very solid throughout, the panel fitment, gaps etc€ are as perfect as they could be.
The interior has had attention as needed over the years showing new items in a few places. Otherwise we can note a nearly perfect dash, not often found on these cars. Great seats, original headliner, and good carpets; he gauges and instrumentation work as expected with no items out of place. The door jams are clean and blemish free. The engine bay shows as an original driver quality car that has been serviced over the years, tidy but not spotless, functional, but not concours. Everything is in place and in working order. A recent tune-up upon LBI€™s acquisition was in order, and the car runs superbly with a $1,500 receipts present for the recent service.
All things considered this is an exceptionally clean and well cared for 911T that has led a privileged life of care and servicing. Complete with all records, COA, original manual, spare, and jack, this 70 911 is an optimal opportunity for any collector or enthusiast. Please inquire for more details and many photos.
