You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Our website is updated daily Calista is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is August 16, 2018.*Calista must be adopted with another kitten/cat, or to a home with a kitten or active cat.* Experienced owner with veterinary references required*Calista was recently saved during an on-going TNR project.  She was found to be somewhat friendly, just scared, so she was brought into foster for extra attention to get her socialized.  Her nickname when she first arrived was Popcorn since she would jump with every noise or movement.  It didn't take long for her to calm down and she is slowly warming up to her foster mom.  She just recently started rubbing legs, looking for attention.  Even early on when she was still jumpy, she would start purring after a few minutes of being held.  Now she lays on her foster mom's lap, purring away, and doesn't try to run and hide.  Even though Calista was a bit scared when she was first rescued, she has always been very curious about everything going on around her.  Although she has not been fully exposed to the other cats and two large dogs she is living with, she has not hissed at anyone that she has met so far.  She has also had some exposure to young children and has done well with them, sitting on their laps getting lots of attention, which she loves.  Calista will require lots of patience and attention in order to help her adjust to new surroundings.
